Galileo, the leading global distribution services (GDS) company and subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE:CD) has announced two new appointments to it sales team, bring to six the number of account managers servicing Galileo's current customers and new business development programme.
Conal Ronayne has been appointed Key Account Manager, with responsibility for the Munster area. Conal brings 20 years’ travel industry experience to Galileo, having worked previously with Club Travel in various roles including tour operator sales, consolidator agency sales, airline GSA, and corporate travel sales. More recently, Conal worked with Executive Travel in a sales and account management role.
Joe Hogan has been appointed New Business Sales Executive. Joe joins Galileo with 10 years’ sales experience. Joe started in the IT industry with Gateway and most recently, worked for several years with Irish software company Similarity Systems, selling into the ERP and CRM markets in Ireland, the UK and the USA. Joe will have responsibility for Galileo’s new business development programme.
